The Circle is a community for people who work in the Creative industries. Meeting new people and making meaningful connections can be challenging - so we make it easy with a carefully-curated group. We then run exclusive member-only pop-up events, so you can have fun while meeting high-quality people. Our events are always changing, always fun, and always have a surprise in store.

After moving to Brisbane, our founder Chris Mc was looking for ways to quickly create and nurture deep friendships. He eventually started a social club called Brisbane Shenanigans which attracted more than 6,000 members. After running 170 events, he found that the quickest and most effective way to create deep friendships was through shared experiences.

Membership is available to everyone over the age of 18. The Circle is an inclusive group, we don't subscribe to any political, religious, sexual or gender views.

Yes - The Circle is strictly 18+. As many of the Venues or Events we advertise are in licensed premises, or may contain adult themes, The Circle is only available to people 18 or older.

An active social life is great for your physical and mental health, and can even lead to a longer life. Experiences - especially when shared with friends - bring longer-lasting happiness, provide better memories, provide greater opportunity to connect to people, and lead to increased self-esteem. Unfortunately finding high-quality people to connect with can be hard. We're here to make that easy.
